Well this is a very new, exciting and maybe a little daunting chapter as the journey of 'Pots and Petals' begins. After spending time creating floral designs, hosting floral craft workshops and more recently making living spring wreaths decided to take a leap of faith and not only go back to studying, but, offer so much more to anyone who, like me, loves flowers.
The webiste has taken me a while to build and will always be 'work in progress', but, I challenged myself to design my own. I wanted the website to host an online shop, be a place to book my workshops and share slideshows of my portfolio thus far.
Whilst there is no arrangement with flowers I would not try, my creativity seems to fit so well with cottage garden, wildflowers, rustic and farmhouse designs. Throughout this journey am really looking forward to developing these areas further. Using my passion and creative flair will create some truly wonderful bespoke pieces with fresh and dried flowers.
Being a student at 'Tallulah Rose School of Flowers' is one which will continue beyond graduation in March 2026. Each month a new module begins and covers everything I shall need in my tool kit as a florist. I am so eager to share my monthly designs and new skills acquired over time.
The membership is life long which means my personal development is always upto date. The school hosts regular 'meet ups' to polish up on skills and spend time with the wonderful vibrant floral community I am now part of.
To help me 'bloom' as a florist invite you and all the flower-loving community to engage with 'Pots and Petals'. I welcome feedback and interaction with my showcased designs and would love you to share your own creations with flowers, fresh or dried.
The journey so far has been mostly based on excitement, slightly stressful building a website, but equally proud that I 'did it'. To date my feedback and reviews from clients has always been positive, I am striving to achieve more of this and 'go bigger' and embrace whatever path this take me too.
So far the support has been incredible and to that end I have nothing but gratitude to you all. Please stay with me on this new chapter and stay tuned for my updates from the floral world.
